What is a Psychoeducational Assessment?
A psychoeducational assessment reveals and may diagnosis your child's strengths and areas of growth pertaining to academics, intelligence, emotional regulation and behaviours.
The understanding of these insights by your child, the learning team and caregivers can empower and teach your child to use their learning strength to reach their full potential. All assessments proactively focus on developing the self esteem of the child through a deeper understanding of self.
Prices Range between $3000 and $5000 depending on the student's age and individual needs. Health insurance may cover all or part of the cost.
Assessment Tools Overview
I have included an overview of some of the assessment tools I may use with your child/teenager. This is not an exhaustive list and only the tools relevant to the needs of your child/teenager will be employed. Time for each assessment ranges between 3-5 hours and includes a report for schools and post secondary institutions as well as a 1 hour meeting with the child and their caregivers to develop a success plan.
